When I first started reading this book, I was certain that it had been written specifically for me. Almost like a prescription after a long series of diagnostic tests, it was exactly the leadership medicine I needed. I have been following the precepts in No Compromise Leadership for over a year. And yes, my leadership skills have improved, as has my company. But unless you are firmly committed to the subtitle "A Higher Standard of Leadership Thinking and Behavior" don't even pick it up, let alone read it. Why? Because Neil Ducoff presents practical leadership advice and pins it on us in an inescapable manner. Once you read the book you are left with only two choices, get better or accept the fact that both you and your company are mediocre. He leaves no escape routes. This is a great leadership book. An easy read with very helpful suggestions. Moreover, No Compromise Leadership is a framework into which we can incorporate lessons from other business thought leaders. It just doesn't get any better than No Compromise Leadership.
